Finnish broadcaster MTV has updated their OTT application Katsomo for Windows 10 including support for mobile, PCs and Xbox One. Sofia Digital implemented the application for MTV using latest Windows 10 technologies and tools, based on the company’s experience on native Windows mobile apps.
MTV’s Katsomo service has been available for earlier models of Windows Phones via an application also developed by Sofia Digital. The new Windows 10 app however brings Katsomo to all devices running Windows 10, including Xbox One. The user experience of application has been completely re-designed at the same time. Katsomo app has been developed using responsive design which supports any screen resolution and input method such as touch screen or Xbox controller.
MTV Katsomo is an OTT service with catch-up TV content and live streaming of MTV’s channels. In addition to programming shown on broadcast channels, the service includes exclusive material only available in Katsomo.
