Finnish HDTV-Forum organized a HbbTV “mini-seminar” in Helsinki, Finland at 19th June 2012. The event grew in size and scope from the original concept, ending up with over 100 participants and a truly world-class speaker line-up covering the many aspects of Hybrid Broadcast Broadband TV (HbbTV). Participants included broadcast professionals from Finland, Norway, Denmark, Germany, France and UK. The event was sponsored by Marlin and httv, and took place at MTV MEDIA premises. The seminar was hosted by Mr. Mika Kanerva, Chairman of Finnish HDTV Forum’s HbbTV working group. In addition to presentations there were numerous HbbTV live demos presented from Marlin, httv, MTV3, Digita, Icareus, gbtimes and Sofia Digital.
