Sofia Digital has made new sales and marketing agreements in several European countries, including Italy, Czech Republic, Germany, Spain, Portugal and Baltic countries. With the new partnerships Sofia strengthens its presence in fast-growing interactive television markets in Europe.
In Italy, the MHP market is growing significantly. Sofia Digital has been involved in many cases developing customers’ business. Sofia’s customers in Italy include Mediaset, Telespazio and GranDucato. Sofia’s partner is Italy has been CVE (Comtek Video Enterprise), with its’ over 20 years of experience in providing demanding TV systems.
For Czech and Slovakian markets Sofia Digital has made a partner agreement with TietoEnator. With the new arrangement TietoEnator can bring Sofia’s iTV products to local broadcasting companies and operators and offer required professional services.
For Germany, Sofia Digital has made a partner agreement with IRT (Institut für Rundfunktechnik), who has several years of experience in developing open standard digital television solutions. Sofia Digital and IRT have combined their MHP competences into a cost-effective MHP Starter Kit product, with which a broadcaster or an operator can launch MHP service production and testing with a single solution. StarterKit includes MHP carousel and service authoring and management tools, which have already been in production use by several customers worldwide.
For Spanish and Portuguese market, Sofia’s representative is WirelessZT, who has several years of experience in providing business critical applications for customers in Spain, Portugal and Latin America. With the collaboration Sofia brings MHP products as well as SMS TV products for large markets with WirelessZT’s outstanding support in Spain, Latin America and USA.
For Baltic market, Sofia has made a partner agreement with Indata Eesti, who have a long experience in delivering mobile and IVR services for their customers. Sofia brings its’ SMS TV products to Baltic market in collaboration with Indata Eesti’s highly professional local support.
